The Cannons Task Force
The Cannons Task Force was formed in 2019 to gather the support of Cannons parents and families with Cannons organizational activities and events. The Cannons “Task Force” volunteers support the organization with extra efforts including tournament planning, special projects, charitable events, concessions, and much more. Please contact the Cannons if you are interested in volunteering and attending future monthly meetings.

Support Youth Baseball
The Cannons’ organizational philosophy surrounding the great game of baseball includes the fundamentals of stewardship, sharing of positive experiences, good citizenship, and aiding those less fortunate. Teaching these values not only occurs via special events, player to player mentorships, and many other activities but also internally within the organization. A major part of the Cannons yearly program involves volunteer field maintenance and fundraising.
Home Fields Guest Tournaments Support
Guest tournaments on a home fields are an important source of income and pride for the Cannons organization. In order provide safe, clean, and enjoyable ball fields and other services to our guests, Cannons parents and family members are needed to prepare, support, and maintain our ball fields and event weekends. Volunteers from all Cannons teams are needed to do field prep, perform trash services, and sell concessions.
Scholastic, Honor Society, and Community Service Credit
Scholastic, Honor Society, and Community Service Credit is available as credit for volunteering with the Cannons. Not to mention personal satisfaction of knowing that you’ve helped a great community organization! Volunteer work can be performed any day of the week and a variety of much need services can be of help to the Cannons baseball organization. For students, formal community volunteer credit can be arranged by working with the Cannons youth sports program at the ball fields at these fine local Huron Valley Schools.
Field Maintenance, Cleaning, and Beautification
Maintaining the appearance and safe playing condition of the Cannons’ ball fields is a necessity both for safe play and the ongoing success of our relationship with Huron Valley Schools. Taking pride in the appearance and condition of the Cannons’ very special privilege of having “Home Fields” in partnership with Huron Valley Schools is an integral part of the learnings that will carry on into a young persons’ personal lifelong behaviors into adulthood.
